FANTASTIC coffee. The Red Rocks Michael's house blend is the perfect cup of coffee for a cold, snowy morning before hitting the slopes. Great breakfast, as always!

Hello Michaels Kitchen! We were lucky enough to visit you in 2007. We have now decided to retire in Taos next summer after 40 years of Govt work. We remember your kind staff and fab food. We can't wait to be "regulars"!!! Ciao for now.

As always when I return to Kansas, I have to cherish the last meal in NM by eating a meal at Micheals Kitchen. Great service in a beautiful land.

Just wanted to tell y'all how much we enjoyed Breakfast there in Taos at your Kitchen! Your lovely place with all the Antiques makes your guest feel right at home! Wish we had had the chance to eat Supper there but didn't catch it on one of your open nights, guess we'll just have to come back!

I am so glad to see you are still there. I was working at Philmont in 1986 and came with friends for dinner after staff training. Growing up near St Louis and having just eaten 10 days of backpacking freeze dried stuff (with hot sauce) made you a near religious experience.
I'll not be out that way anytime soon, but if I am it is great to know you are still there.

Hi,
My wife and I lived in Albuquerque from 1977 to 1985. We had a great aunt & uncle Effie & Sual Harberg, who had lived inTaos since the 1920's. While we lived in Abq. my wife, Suzanne, and I would visit Saul every few weeks. Effie passed away in 1974. Saul ran Taos Lumber for many years after having sold Ilfeld Hardware on the square.

Saul introduced us to Michael's Kitchen in the mid-seventies and it has been a favorite of ours for years. We now live in Austin, TX and any time we are even close to Taos we stop at Michael's.

Even though we don't get there often since Saul is gone now, we tell everyone that is planning a trip to Northern New Mexico that they have to stop and eat at Michael's Kitchen!

My wife and I lived in Los Alamos years ago and loved making the drive to Taos to eat at Michael's. We've since move home to Oklahoma. Over the years we have told other okies about Michael's and as they were visiting or passing through they have stopped. We always get big "Thank You's" for sharing Michael's with them. We have been back several times and it's always a highlight of our trips to visit Michael's.

I was born and raised in Taos and as a child went with my mother and her friend to Michael,s for coffee and donuts. It was always a treat. As a teenager I would ditch school and inevitably would find my self at Micheal's drinking coffee and eating donuts.. Now as an adult when I make it home to Taos I take my wife and kids, throw them in the van and make our way to Michael's to keep the tradition alive. Thank you Mike... And a special thank you Gina for keeping it alive... See you next time we are in Town...

Hi - we were visiting Taos on Mother's Day and a shop clerk suggested we eat at Michael's instead of the normal tourist restaurants in the plaza.

It was very good food, nice service, got to watch a really lovely local family have their mother's day lunch. Best of all was a carnation I was given when we came in. I am from Illinois on a 40 day trip across country and I was feeling a little homesick that day. What a treat to get that flower. We put it in a water bottle in our car and it lasted until Yosemite, when we had to dump it so the bears wouldn't be tempted to break into our car. Thanks - what a fun surprise on Mother's Day. I would totally recommend your fun restaurant to anyone visiting Taos. So much better than the usual places. Thanks again.
